I'm not going to lie. 26 was not my favorite year, but it wasn't a terrible one either. I learned alot, which seems to happen more and more the older I get. I discovered strengths that I have but also plenty of weaknesses.
I completed only 12 of my 26 things @ 26 list. And I'm more than okay with that. Because I accomplished plenty of things that weren't on the list. Some of my favorites are:
*visit San Diego with Isaac
*sew a quilt
*successfully grow a garden (that one is one the list again this year!)
*make a headboard
*take Ben to San Antonio
Going into 27 I am now the mom of a toddler. Ahhh! When did that happen!? I really am looking forward to what this year has in store for me and for our family. My goal for this year remains the same as it is for 2012: be intentional and simplify. So far, that has been a process and one that I struggle with. I am terrible at time management and I am Mrs. Procrastinator. But, it's something that I know is do-able and it's something that I pray over all the time.

Other than that, I think I am going to stay away from a list of goals for 27. I still have goals in mind, but what I discovered with my last list is that my priorities change as time goes on. I had on my 26 list that I wanted an iphone. I've since decided that getting a smart phone is just not important to me. I said I wanted to master baby wearing, but I found that I preferred to use a stroller with Isaac. So while I don't have one big list of 27 goals all planned out right now, I will set goals as I go throughout the year. Because, well, I love goal lists.
So, here's to another year; one that I'm looking forward to with anticipation. Here's to 27. Bring it on!
