project life: weeks 3 & 4

I'm still a bit behind. This week I finished weeks 3 and 4. I have the photos developed for week 5 but they haven't quite made their way into the album yet.

Week 3:


This week really was uneventful. We had lunch at Central Market, walked to the park and I spent some more time purging all of the extra junk we have lying around. And as usual, Isaac ate a lot. He discovered his new favorite lunch: bean tostada with cheese and guacamole. That kid loves to eat!

Week 4:

This week was a very exciting one. Not only was it Isaac's 1st birthday, but my mom and sister in law came all the way from Vegas to celebrate with us!! It was a week full of celebration, eating, shopping and good company.


For this page I cut a plastic page cover, added some confetti and sewed it up with a zig zag stitch. I love the result! For the extra insert I added a few more fun photos from Isaac's birthday. This particular photos has to be my absolute favorite!


On the other side of the insert, I added a letter to Isaac.


My mom took this photo while she was here. I am weening Isaac this month and I wanted to have a few photos of him nursing. I won't lie, I'm really going to miss it. But it's time. He has pretty much decided he's ready to move on.


I added a list of all the fun things we did during the week.


And a cute photo of Isaac and our cat, Cal. They aren't really very good friends, but Cal has learned to tolerate a baby chasing him and pulling on his tail.

And that's it! I'm hoping to get up to date this week and have week 5 and 6 ready to share next week. Here's hoping!
