Thanksgiving at the Beach

When I hear the word "beach", 2 things come to mind: home and Thanksgiving.

Now, home probably makes sense. It's where I spent that last 6 years of my life: in Oceanside, CA. The most wonderful, amazing, beautiful beach town ever (okay, maybe I'm a bit biased).

But Thanksgiving?? What does Thanksgiving have to do with the beach? For me: everything.

Ever since I was 7 years old, I have camped at the beach for Thanksgiving. It's the one tradition my family has. And it's the best tradition ever!

We usually camp at Doheney State Beach in Dana Point, CA:

How fun!! I didn't realize you can camp right on the sand. We always go to Carlsbad State Beach or San Elijo but I think we are going to have to try Dana Point!! Great pics!
