Now, home probably makes sense. It's where I spent that last 6 years of my life: in Oceanside, CA. The most wonderful, amazing, beautiful beach town ever (okay, maybe I'm a bit biased).
But Thanksgiving?? What does Thanksgiving have to do with the beach? For me: everything.
Ever since I was 7 years old, I have camped at the beach for Thanksgiving. It's the one tradition my family has. And it's the best tradition ever!
We usually camp at Doheney State Beach in Dana Point, CA:

most photos were taken by my brother.

How fun!! I didn't realize you can camp right on the sand. We always go to Carlsbad State Beach or San Elijo but I think we are going to have to try Dana Point!! Great pics!
i LOVE camping and i LOVE thanksgiving, but i never thought of combining the two! what a fun tradition! thanks for stopping by my blog. we had dinner in oceanside last time we were in san diego and it was amazing there. we were there at sunset and it was so beautiful! where do you live in texas? i lived there for six years and it's my favorite place on earth!
That's a great tradition! I've never heard of anything like it. And now it's something I want to do with my family someday :)
Gorgeous beach photos. I would LOVE to camp next to the beach!
That is such a fun tradition! Love seeing your family's FEAST on the beach. That definitely says Thanksgiving to me!!!
