organizational nut or organized homemaker?

I love organization. I mean, I'm kind of a nut about it sometimes. My dream job would be a personal organizer. Yes, they do exist.

To prove it to you, right now I'm writing my shopping lists.. each one is organized by store and by where each item is in the store (I learned that one from my mom). And I'm researching freezer meals, how to plan them and store them for when the baby comes. And I'm looking at this amazing blog post about how to create a home planner. Yes, a home planner!! What could be more amazing than that?! Nothing. (Okay, maybe there are a few things more amazing, but it's still pretty awesome).

Here is a glance into my home planner. The sections I use include:

*goals
*weekly plan
*menu plan
*finances
*blog ideas & resources
*family journal
*phone numbers & emergency contacts

{this is the first page in my goals section. these are my 4 big goals for the year. i used the idea of writing them on a paint chip sample from this blog. cute right??}
{this is a weekly to do list. it's broken down into sections: personal, ministry/spiritual growth, and housekeeping. i like having the check boxes next to each item. makes me feel so accomplished when i can check off that it's been completed!!}
{this is my new favorite section: family journal. this is a place for me to record what God has been doing in our lives over the course of the week, month or year. i love being able to look back and see what we were praying about, how we were seeking God in a particular area and then being reminded of what He did. what a blessing that is!}

So, what do you think? Organizational nut? or Organized homemaker?

I think back on how your room use to look. Does that have anything to do with organization? LOL (sorry, couldn't help myself. I use to be the same way.)

I'm in awe! Definitely Organized Homemaker.
Ummm, I really want to copy the poo poo out of it. Would you be willing to email the weekly planner to me too?

I'm not nearly as organized as you but I'm a real list maker.
