how we spent our 6th anniversary

For our 6th anniversary, my husband and I took a day trip to Temecula, CA for some wine tasting. Now, I'm not a huge fan of wine, but I did have a really good time. I drank only the super fruity white and pink wines and some yummy champagnes. One winery had a fabulous pineapple champagne, which I enjoyed with some warm, fresh baked sourdough bread... Yum-O!

Here are some pictures from our day. (One side note: our camera broke on the last day of our trip to Washington DC so all of these photos were taken with a disposable camera.. which was super embarrassing. I hadn't used one in years! But, I have to say that they turned out pretty well!):

{My first glass of the day. Robert Renzoni Winery}

{My husband, enjoying the weather at the Wilson Creek Winery}

{In front of our super cool wine-bus}

{A glass of wine and my tasting card at the Maurice Carrie Winery}

{Outside of PF Changs.. yummy anniversary dinner}

After a long day of drinking with strangers, we enjoyed a very low-key dinner at PF Changs. Needless to say, we both had water with dinner.

If you ever get a chance to get out to Temecula or up to Napa Valley, I highly recommend wine tasting. It was quite an enjoyable day!!

Wow! A disposable camera has gotten a lot better since my day. Those look great! Pineapple champagne with fresh sourdough?! That's sounds so perfect!
