I mentioned in a previous post that I found these badminton raquets at the Dollar Tree! Each came with a shuttlecock. What a fantastic deal! We finally decided to take them outside for some real use (up until this point we had just batted the 'shuttle' around the apartment and watched our cat attack it).

Okay, so we didn't have a net and we didn't keep score (because I can't remember how to actually play the game). But we did get quite a workout! Badminton is super deceptive. When the wind catches the 'shuttle', man it can carry.

So, I approve badminton as a fun outdoor activity. Actually, I highly recommend it!! Next time, we might even find a volleyball net to use. Oh, how official!
